We have donated £580 worth of Rooted Ocean goodies to our friends Adsurf - a local charity that provides accessible adaptive surf lessons and surfing experiences for people with disabilities, neurodiversity and mental health conditions in Bude.
From the 1st to the 12th June, Adsurf's Cyril, Bodhi and local lifeguard Leon will be walking the 132 miles from Land's End to Bude in their Hiking Challenge.
Their aim is to highlight the accessible things the North Cornwall Coast has to offer and to further fund their base in Bude providing people with accessible surfing sessions.
You can sponsor this challenge and have the chance to win the prize pack in the process.
About Adsurf
Set up in 2022, after the need and desire for Adaptive Surfing in and around Bude had become increasingly evident, AdSurf recognised a huge opportunity to combine a great geographic location with an incredible community who already work together.
Starting small, their aim is to develop to include everyone who wants to experience the numerous benefits of the sea and surfing, by providing accessible and adaptive surfing to people with disabilities, mental health conditions and neurodiversity.
AdSurf has access to a great deal of knowledge, experience and qualifications in adaptive surf coaching and a great local community which is already helping to facilitate this activity.
How to enter
You can support Adsurf and enter the prize draw by sponsoring their hiking challenge. Raffle tickets are £5 and each £5 ticket counts as an entry.
